Following the lackluster performance of The Expendables 4, which earned only €8 million at the box office in its first week, €30 million less than its predecessor, Lionsgate decided to release the film directly to streaming platforms. However, this setback hasn't deterred Jason Statham, who returns in The Beekeeper. Directed by David Ayer and running at 1 hour and 45 minutes, the film follows the story of M. Clay, a beekeeper with a vengeance.

Formerly a member of a clandestine organization known as the "Beekeepers," M. Clay seeks retribution following the tragic suicide of a friend. Statham not only leads the cast but also serves as a producer on the project. Beyond his on-screen battles, Statham is a passionate individual, although perhaps not in the way you might expect.
